Fantasy Golf Picks: Farmers Insurance Open

Last week was a rough one for my fantasy golf team. I fell out of first position and almost out of the Top-10 thanks to me not paying attention and making some pretty rough picks overall. Oh well; you live and learn. Redemption is around the corner for me this week at the Farmers Insurance Open, however, as defending champion Bubba Watson makes his way onto my roster again along with runner-up Phil Mickelson. Fantasy Golf Picks: Sony Open in Hawaii

The PGA TOUR remains in Hawaii this week as the Sony Open tees off tomorrow morning. Defending champion Mark Wilson captured his first of two titles in this event in 2011, which makes him this week’s “favorite pick”. Steve Stricker also returns to action after his victory at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. Click the jump to see my fantasy golf picks for the 2012 Sony Open in Hawaii. Read more of this post

Fantasy Golf Picks: Tour Championship by Coca-Cola

First of all, can I just say that the name of this tournament is ridiculous? “…by Coca-Cola”? Come on.

Anyway, the PGA TOUR season comes to an end this week in Atlanta as the FedEx Cup will be awarded to one of 30 players at the Tour Championship. Atlanta Athletic Club is a tough track historically, so I wouldn’t expect low numbers like we saw at Cog Hill last week at the BMW. Webb Simpson is your FedEx leader going in, however names like Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, and many others are within striking distance to capture the Cup. Oh, and the winner of the Cup gets $10 million, which is nice. Here are my fantasy golf picks for the Tour Championship by Coca-Cola. Read more of this post
