The PGA TOUR returns to ‘Nawlins this week at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, and Masters champion Bubba Watson looks to defend last year’s victory at this event. A handful of the game’s best will be in attendance this week, making all fantasy golf players aware that this ain’t no Valero Texas Open.

Last week was a rough one for my fantasy golf team. I fell out of first position and almost out of the Top-10 thanks to me not paying attention and making some pretty rough picks overall. Oh well; you live and learn. Redemption is around the corner for me this week at the Farmers Insurance Open, however, as defending champion Bubba Watson makes his way onto my roster again along with runner-up Phil Mickelson. The 2012 PGA TOUR season kicks off this week at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions at the lovely Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort. Last year was a weak year for yours truly in the Fantasy Golf arena, so let’s try to get this party started right this season right off the tee.
